Kauri Bay Boomrock / 18th November 2022
Rebecca & Josh went for a clean and classic modern aesthetic held at the ever so clean and modern Kauri Bay Boomrock. Her flowers were cream with a hint of blush and jewels were minimal. Josh wore a tux with a bow tie (I do love me a bow tie) and Rebecca had a plunge off the shoulder dress by Astra Bridal and she actually looked so fire you guys. It meant a lot to Rebecca & Josh to be present with their loved ones and create moments where their folks were included in the day. I’d say we were a match made in heaven. I knew Becky from when I was a young 20 something and just starting photographing weddings! We kept in touch and it was a bit of a pinch me moment when I photographed their maternity photos and then their wedding when baby boy was earth side. It really is a thrill to have those precious milestones placed in your hands to capture.
If you’re reading this then you know that the summer of 2022/2023 was rainy and stormy with a few cyclones for good measure. These lovers were determined to not let that shake their day which I’m pretty sure you can tell was all smiles and champagne and kisses. Spot the cute rainbow that made a special guest appearance after we got a SUNSET what the heck! Every season in a day am.i.right.
